If you use citadel paints this could be a good offer.

Hornby rail freight class 60 at Amazon

£118

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hornby-R3743-Class-Railfreight-Construction/dp/B07N89W2P2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Hornby+class+60&qid=1621340322&sr=8-1

Yes I know the algorithm will push the price up but if you are quick!

Yes it’s got the incorrect position of the logo but Hornby may still have the correct bodies available!

cheers

Another Amazon deal. Hornby 2 car Class 156 DMU in Regional Railways livery for £86.

It's the ex-Lima body with poor underframe detail and no lights etc, but a good price for what it is.

Don't click through unless you're interested as it may well push the price up!

Its one of Amazons "Limited Time Deals", rather than an automatic ad-hoc reduction, so it should stick around until (probably) midnight.

There's also the L&Y Pug (R3727) for £50

21/05 Quick update, the 156 is still at £86, whilst the Pug has dropped another 50p!

23/05 Pug now £48.40 , 156 up to £88.63

https://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/71225/K9965-The-Sapper-Cargowaggon-Pack

Kernow newsletter has the Bachmann 47 'The Sapper' and a EFE Cargowaggon (unbranded/weathered) for £149.99. That's ten quid less than the usual price for the loco alone. The cheapest I can find the Cargowaggon is about £46.

So, to get ANY Bachmann 47 for a shade over a ton is an absolute bargain ( a ltd edition in an atractive livery to boot IMO)

Someone's in for a shock. It's not O gauge, it's not even properly Gauge 1 as the listing says further down the page.  Track gauge is 55mm.

1st item I posted not a bargain now thanks to Amazon’s pricing algorithm

This is still available for £66 ‘used’ though

No-one had posted a Hereford Model Centre in a while, it took some digging but I found some new (old stock?) Dapol 57xx n gauge. An HMC exclusive (split from set) for 55GBP, late BR, seems like a pretty good deal even though Dapol's isn't the best n gauge pannier model out there....

http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=832_834_848_973_977&products_id=15719

5 in stock at time of posting.

And better than amazon, the price won't go up when you look at it, buy it, breathe in its direction etc. You'll also be supporting a model shop that supports the hobby.

Another HMC Dapol Pannier offer, a Pannier with two B Set coaches. Granted, the Pannier is BR Black with a late crest, and the coaches are in GWR livery, but its ideal for that archetypal "Heritage Railway" look. Even better, the pack is £69.95 so in addition to the Pannier, you get two coaches for approx £7.72 each!
