Obviously, I can't yet comment on its reliability, effectiveness at picking up different materials (e.g. dust, ballast, biscuit crumbs etc.) You might find one elsewhere, e.g. Comet have one for £51 that differs only in the branding. It has a small cylinder for collecting debris so any locomotive crew you inadvertantly vacuum up will be easy to retrieve. About the same size as a wine bottle once assembled. Yes in theory and I've done it before. Last time I tried though, they wouldnt accept any offers saying they were already giving 15% away. I think the vendor pays, not eBay.
