That’s taking realism a shade too far: the bodies are only plastic and you don’t need to resort to scale oxy-acetylene cutters to shred them...

Now pretty much all connected up to the tag strip. The loose blue and orange wires are for the switchblades when they go in and the yellow wires are for the two common crossings.

A bit more wiring will be required; the connections to the fiddle yard and the point motors, but this is basically it.
