Indomitable026
Mineral - but not wagons. I’ve been lucky enough to do a loco body swap for the three locos I have with a fellow RMWebber. The corollary of this is that I now have three locos from my main initial era of the 1980s Boom. 7

That’s taking realism a shade too far: the bodies are only plastic and you don’t need to resort to scale oxy-acetylene cutters to shred them... Indomitable026
Now for a bit more wiring. I’ve mounted the tag strips and started soldering wires to it. I try and do them in some sort of order to keep them looking neat.
Indomitable026
Now pretty much all connected up to the tag strip. The loose blue and orange wires are for the switchblades when they go in and the yellow wires are for the two common crossings. A bit more wiring will be required; the connections to the fiddle yard and the point motors, but this is basically it. 8
