Ashfield Town and Sutton in Ashfield Town are both packed and ready to go.

Hopefully there will be RMWebbers attending the show this weekend so please come and say hello. You will probably find me on the Club sales stand, no idea yet what there will be to part you from some cash but it will be a bargain.

I attended on Sunday morning and found it to be one of the most friendly and welcoming shows to visit. The mix of layouts and trade was just about right perhaps the only disappointment was the lack of lighting on the excellent Sutton in Ashfield layout.

I offer my congratulations to the Elizabethan club for a very pleasant couple of hours.

Thanks for your comments Michael. As you probably noticed, there is work in progress at the venue which will include lowering the ceiling in the main hall which probably explains why so many of the lights were not working.

We have three OO layouts at the club and all are 'work in progress' to a greater or lesser extent and one of the jobs we are looking at is a lighting rig which can be used for all of the layouts.

We'll be back at the Summit Centre next year on 13th and 14th October, we are never sure until nearer the time what space we will have available but the staff there are always very pleasant and helpful.
