Hroth
We're happy to leave the forum open as long as people wish to post. There's no reason Cakeboxing shouldn't go on into the future. I can't promise another magazine organised competition, but we can look at things again if there is the demand. The wonderful thing about the cakebox challenge was that it was constrained by the size of the container and the requirement that there be 2 "railway" related items. Apart from that, the scope was massive and a wide range of modellers have felt free to have a go, producing their individual interpretations of "Concentrated Essence of Railway". Its been a most enjoyable experience!

RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted October 15, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 15, 2018 Very, very difficult to pick three favourites from the list of excellent entries. Well done to all who've had a go, whether you finished or not.
outcastjack
Amazing challenge I loved it! The voting was very difficult, five or ten favorites would still have been hard!

RMweb Gold Colin_McLeod Posted October 29, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 29, 2018 I've just had a great idea for a cake box challenge but I suppose I am too late lol Anyway I will now have a good look at the entries and vote for someone. BTW there are some wonderful creations and it will not be easy to pick just three.
