I'm gathering place now, hoping to have the loco complete within a couple of weeks. The eagle eyed among us will probably have noticed which particular 37 this model is going to be.. D6775
I’m thinking 37180 as I don’t think many (if any) other centre panel /0s carries that livery. But I didn’t think it had headlights.

But I didn’t think it had headlights.Yep,bang on,and well noted on the headlights.I was going to model 214 in construction livery which had headlights, then changed my mind not realising 180 didn't have them until it was too late!! But hey ho... Edited September 14, 2018 by modelman14
D6775
I had to check photo's as I couldn't remember, I have got one in the shops at the moment too. modelman14
Not much left to do now,had an airbrush session this morning. Just a final top coat around the decals to blend them in and then I can start putting it back together. modelman14
Well, the 37 is back together, only the windscreen wipers, couplings,MU cables and handbrake chains to install,oh and nameplates. I've made a couple of errors on the front for this particular loco, but this is what happens when you change your mind and you've already started the process. The colours and weathering look a lot better in the flesh, but you'll have to take my word for it. It was a pain to put back together mind. Giles
Looking great! I always wished they did one of the early split box as below with ploughs....Have you thought about fitting the brake lever chains? I think they fill the 'gap' somehow. 2018-09-29_08-58-40 by giles favell, on Flickr Edited October 2, 2018 by Giles

modelman14
Well, apart from nameplates, that's 37180 complete. Couple of detail errors and I'm not happy with the brake levers but overall I'm very happy with this one. Mind you,the chains come off very easily if I need to remove the body for any reason,I hope I don't need to,the screws to the body are in an awkward place,Heljan please put the body screws in a more sensible location. Let's hope Heljan do a good job of the forthcoming 37/4.
modelman14
THANKS NARROW PLANET. Got the plates before Christmas, but only got round to fitting them, slight weathering to match the loco and I think they are spot on..NP made them slightly larger at my request to give a closer match to the real thing.. Another loco complete.
