RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted November 14, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 14, 2017 Greetings, I am looking for photos and (better) scale drawings of the original GW pattern wooden signal box at Parkend, as opposed to the more recent replacement. If anyone can assist with this, I'd be very grateful. Many thanks.
Taigatrommel
Hi CK, Is it safe to assume you have "the Severn & Wye Railway volume 1"? That has the best views in my handful of Gloucestershire railway books.

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted November 17, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted November 17, 2017 Come on Captain, there are loads. best shots on Pages 138 & 139. Sorry, I should have explained this better. I am indeed aware of all the good photos, thanks, but it's a scale drawing that I am really after. I appreciate that it should be possible to scale off photos, using GW standardisation for such structures to help with dimensions (I do have a scale drawing of Drys-y-Nant box, which I will be doing a 'mirror image' on, for when I build my cameo of 'Travellers Rest', but a scale drawing of the actual original box at Parkend would be great. Thanks.
