Definitely more insane ... but hopefully not as inane...

Hi LNER,

I was going to write "inane" then changed it to an s with a line through it then changed it back, but for some reason it edited itself and it all came out wrong. strangely I couldn't re-edit it so that it would read properly. Here is how it should read:

Is it from a Hornby Track Plan Book ???

You will have trouble making it more inane than the larger plans in the 5th edition !!!

Gibbo.

And perhaps equivalent of my experience going up Lickey with EE type 3 vice Peak (37 vice 45 for the younger readers).

Paul.

Even today, Lickey can be a slow climb, on a 170 that has called at Bromsgrove.

How about the Waverley route so some of that Eastern region stock can get a run. Or just move a bit further north and do Beattock........ Here is the Night Mail crossing the border......etc etc.

Keith

Strangely enough I could lend Red Leader some ex LMS mail coaches and 12 wheel sleepers..

:D
