RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted December 2, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2017 I have a shiny new OCA wagon sitting on my desk, Railfreight red 112016 (Cat No. 377-551B) only that shade of red looks somewhat faded yet there was no indication that this was going to be the case with the item description. Did 377-551 and 377-551A have the same faded red shade?

Did 377-551 and 377-551A have the same faded red shade? I haven't seen the latest one in the flesh, but Railfreight red faded to pink very very quickly, infact most reds on road vehicles are also prone to it, something to do with the pigments... RMweb Premium John M Upton Posted December 2, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted December 2, 2017 Next to my delivered at the same time SPA its pretty obvious: It does look good however if somewhat too clean and even for a faded finish. The very same OCA wagon appears on Paul Bartlett's website in a not so faded condition: http://PaulBartlett.zenfolio.com/oca/e1b4fac6b
