antonyvw
Does anyone know where I can get the old Comet oo frame assembly jig (LS16) or something similar? Ive had a look on the net and can not seem to find any. I know Comet were taken over by Wizard Models but for some odd reason I cant access their website. hayfield
Had to dig a bit on the Wizzard web site, under tools and materials https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/tools/00-gauge-frame-assembly-jig-ls16/, also P4 and EM plus there are some washers for hornblocks https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/tools/assembly-jig-adaptors-for-6mm-wide-hornways-ls59/
PenrithBeacon
Had to dig a bit on the Wizzard web site, under tools and materials https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/tools/00-gauge-frame-assembly-jig-ls16/, also P4 and EM plus there are some washers for hornblocks https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/tools/assembly-jig-adaptors-for-6mm-wide-hornways-ls59/ I use these frame assembly jigs and very useful they are too. But there is a caveat, they only work successfully with Comet's own etched frame stretchers. Because of this I have found that it is necessary to replace stretchers supplied with a kit with Comet's own
