RMweb Gold Hattons Dave Posted December 18, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 18, 2017 Hi all,Following the development of our exclusive re-release of the headcode disc fitted Class 20, we are pairing up again to produce a further O gauge project in the form of a pair of Class 37/4s in BR large logo blue. Heljan's model of these locomotives was announced at Warley in a range of unnumbered liveries, however we have chosen to produce two of the more iconic members of the subclass which are well known for their time spent in 'Large Logo' which will be supplied pre-numbered and named.3745 - Class 37/4 37401 "Mary Queen of Scots" in BR large logo blue with yellow headcode boxes3746 - Class 37/4 37408 "Loch Rannoch" in BR large logo blue with black headcode boxesWith 37401 once again carrying Large Logo livery in regular passenger service on the Cumbrian coast and 37408 spending more than twelve years in the livery between late 1985 and early 1998, both locos are suitable for a diverse selection of traffic across the UK as well as in a native Scottish setting.Full details and CADS are on the main website HERE with pre-orders invited. Release is scheduled alongside the main range 37/4 in Q1 2019Cheers,Dave

kernowtim
But Will these feature the black painted 'cut away' buffer beam shrouds of the standard releases??
DavidM
But Will these feature the black painted 'cut away' buffer beam shrouds of the standard releases?? The CAD image shows it as a new body for the 37/4 without cowlings. There's an image if you click the link.
HullCityB17
It would prefer an Intercity Mainline livery Class 37/4 tbh as this would be my first choice followed by the Regional Railways with Scotrail Branding then either the Colas or DRS Livered examples. RMweb Gold Hattons Dave Posted January 30, 2018 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted January 30, 2018 Hi all,We've been working closely with Heljan on the colour layouts for our pair of exclusive Class 37/4s which can be viewed below. Both locomotives are to be produced in their mid 1980s conditions with details including replications of the hand-painted bodyside numbers and several small (but important!) differences between either loco. Further details are available on our website Here. As always, let us know what you think!Cheers,Dave
