LNWR lives on
http://lnwrs.org.uk/PassClassLocos/pass_class_menu.php?display_class_details=w53t
Jol Wilkinson
What scale are you planning to build in? There are kits available for the Watford Tank in 4mm and 7mm scales. The LNWR is fairly well represented for loco kits in both those scales, including the types that lasted into early BR days If you wish to scratchbuild then I suggest that you contact the LNWR Society or the NRM at York for drawings, etc.
Maxonian
Me too. Just getting a man shed. Want a model of Market Bosworth LNWR on the proposed branch from Atherstine to Desford when trying to buy the Leicester and Swannington Railway before the Midland got it. Deposited plans in Leicestershire Record Office. Make a nice LNWR Cross Country line. Early BR days.
