Suggestions for 3" gauge track

As part of my plan for a 16mm scale layout I would like to incorporate a standard gauge exchange siding.  As this works out at 75.33mm, or 3" give or take, can anyone suggest a suitable rail profile to use for this?  Sleepers and chairs would be good, but if necessary I can make those.

Thanks

Hi,

There seems to be a growing following for Gauge 3  as this is in fact 2.5 inch gauge the rail might be near enough. Especially in a siding which could be lighter section rail. I think that there is a Gauge 3 Society but a google search for Gauge 3 track might give a supplier.

best wishes,

Ian

Try Brandbright or Garden Rail............Brandbright sell brass rail, cast whitemetal chairs, and sleepers.

Which Garden Rail ? the magazine ??  Brandbright only sell Peco narrow gauge track these days .

Your best bets are Peco ( code 250 rail ), Cliff Barker ( code 250 bullhead rail ) or Tenmille ( Various sections ). All of the latter sell chairs or rail fixings as separate mouldings, so with your own sleepers you can make any gauge you like.
