Some accuracy issues there, I'm afraid; they repeatedly show the services as "On Time"

A few questions, if I may, and an appeal for assistance:

I currently require drawings for the following locomotives, and would be much obliged if some kind soul could supply them!

LSWR Class A12 0-4-2

LSWR Class T3 4-4-0

I also require assistance and drawings regarding the following:

LSWR 4-Wheeled Coaching stock (Suitable for the Adams era on the LSWR)

LSWR 6-Wheeled Coaching stock (As Above)

LSWR Bogie Coaching Stock (As Above)

LSWR Wagons (As Above)

LSWR Brake Vans (As Above)

I know I state my preference as being LBSCR, but given I'm starting with LSWR Adams locos, I would like to also offer suitable stock to run them with!

In particular, if anyone could advise on suitable 4-Wheeled Coaching stock, I would be very grateful. I know a limited amount on the 6-Wheeled and Bogie Stock.

Thankyou very much for the NBR sides! I shall probably print them out tomorrow, I assume they'll come out right on A4 paper? I'm eyeing up a GBL Single-to-NBR 474 2-2-2 conversion too (they are nearly identical).

I definitely have drawings for some LSWR locos stashed somewhere, I think they're for 0-6-0s though. I also wondered today whether it may be possible to 3D-print 'deep frames' to fit the Airfix City of Truro kit to allow other GWR classes such as the Birds and Bulldogs to be represented. I know there is a Branchlines conversion kit somewhere for this but I can't find it and it looks somewhat involved.

First: I think the sides work out OK for A4... if they need adjusting then please say!

Second: Look forward to seeing the CR No.123 conversion!

Third: Any LSWR, LBSCR, SECR, LNWR, GER, TVR, MGNJR, LCDR, SER, Dist. Rly, Met Rly, LTSR, Rh Rly, Camb Rys, M&CR, NSR, GNoSR, NBR, G&SWR, Midland, Caley, Highland, GNR, NER, ECJS, WCJS, Barry, GWR (Within reason...), KESR, Beyer Peacock, Andrew Barclay, Hundswell Clarke, Hunslet, Sharp Stewart, NBL, or indeed any other loco, wagon or coach drawing from any company that existed before 1923 is very much appreciated, especially anything that operated South of the River Thames (So that includes, GNR, MR, District, Met, LNWR and other stock!) or in the area that became absorbed by the Southern Railway.

Fourth: I may have to look into those!

From experience I will have to spend some time editing because the tabular format does not transfer across even though it looks fine in the posting box.

EDIT:  I was right.  Ignore the copious "Y"s which are there in the database to show me what information the articles include.  The list above all have drawings of the items identified.  The final numbers on each line are the page numbers.

Thanks for that list Andy: I'll have to trawl through my (admitted rather small until you get to 2007!) pile of old RM's and MRC's then! It also gives my an idea which ones to look for.

Also, Jim, thanks for the link! I expect that I will, eventually, follow that option. It will be a while before I do Caley stuff, but we'll see...

Thanks Simon: will need to look at getting that, but the £87 (Cheapest I could find online!) pricetag - for the loco book - puts me off somewhat - surely it's worth a reprint if it's worth that much?! If I were to find a better-priced copy then it would be a definite purchase.

That price tag just reflects what a small number of people have been prepared to pay for it relatively recently, and a current scarcity of available copies. It is no indication of there being sufficient interest to justify a reprint (which is dictated by number of likely sales). It could be that 3 people are seeking a copy, but none at that price, and if 4 became available, the price would plummet.

I stand very happily corrected!

At any rate, the point still stands that I don not have that sort of money for books at the moment, but I nevertheless thank you for the suggestion.

If you're going to use the Bachmann E4 chassis for an E5, just remember the driving wheels are different sizes between the E4 and the E5 (the E5 drivers are bigger by 6 inches). I don't know if the wheelbase is the same or not, but with the E5 having a longer firebox, I'd double-check!

Seeing as you are working in 00, choosing wheel diameters based on the “over-flange” dimension can help with clearances, especially with cast splashers.

But the R1 is not the only alternative: just the only alternative for you.
