Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there is a company doing inlays for Peco code 100 streamline points for cobbles or tarmac as I'm doing a quayside tramway

Cheers

Sorry, I didn't look at the prices - depends how long your tramway is I suppose!  Or you could cut up Wills cobblestone sheets.

Sorry posted this and it has vanished - try again - if tarmac will do, visit Hobbycraft for grey or black A4 size foam sheet - place over rails and rub along where the rail is with finger - acts like rubbing over paper on coin with a pencil - lift off and cut along marks with sharp craft knife or scissors. Stick down with white glue. I saw a posting yesterday, but can't seem to find it - hope it helps

I think the tramway is about 20ft long but I might only pave the sidings in the quayside area which is about eight feet.

Just found some SE fine cast stone sets online so may order these and stick over balsa wood

The rest of the tramway may be like a roadside one similar to Wisbech and Upwell
