RMweb Premium Crepello Posted January 26, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 26, 2018 A quick perusal shows 4F, Standard 5, Jubilee and A2 all dropped from 2018.
RMweb Gold TomE Posted January 26, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 26, 2018 (edited) They hadn’t announced a further run beyond those already available though, had they? It’s not unusual for them to rest a model for a few years, and the fact you can pick up an A2 for £95 from the big retailers suggests they haven’t been hot sellers. The 5MT must be a prime candidate for future tooling modifications to allow for DCC sound like the N Class, similarly the 4F, so I don’t think we’ve seen the last of them. Since Bachmann seem to be in the mood for revisiting old models, how about a loco drive sound fitted Black 5? Tom. woodenhead
I reckon they have big plans for sound in N - it's a proper game changer having pre-fitted speakers - if I was starting over that is.
Atso
You never know, the A2 and Jubilee might be getting an uplift from tender drive... Strange to think that the Jubilee, Royal Scot and Black Five must be some of the oldest steam locomotives in the Farish range now...
