Should the second and third numbers read B333501 and B333502?

What would the chances be of ever seeing three consecutively numbered wagons together - except when they came out of Shildon Works? In which case B333500 would not have had the yellow triangle marking?

Surely, three randomly numbered wagons within the appropriate series would be far more useful to the vast majority of modellers.

A rethink called for here?

Regards,

John Isherwood.

Hi,

Yes sorry for the typo! Correct numbers now displayed.

As we wanted our exclusive to be the first three wagons produced they are the numbers. If you wanted a random rake you could mix with a standard accurascale pack.

To be fair to Rails, this is an NRM branded exclusive not a general wagon pack so to appeal to collectors it should be something special like commemorating the first (or in this case first three) of an item.

As Oliver says, mix it with standard wagons and there you go.

You should rejoice at such problems... half the trainload wagons fleets I have are all running the same number.

Other wagon numbers are available ........... !

Regards,

John Isherwood.

Oh yes there certainly are...

https://accurascale.co.uk/product-category/wagons/

Looking at the list I see 15 pre tops, 18 post tops.. so 36 unique wagons via Accurascale...

http://djmodels.co.uk/?page_id=765

And 17 pre-tops and 17 tops from DJM.. you can have 32 and 35 wagons trains respectively all unique numbers.

Mixing the 1st three wagons into this lot shouldn’t be that difficult.

Modellers have never had it so good... don’t see much of a market for renumbering transfers on these wagons though, especially as this is just the first run...
