Railway Brake/Road van

Hi! Many years ago, more than I care to remember, I built a model brake van/road van to drawings in a magazine. I wish to replace the model with a newer and better model. Unfortunately I no longer have the magazine/drawing/article. I have attached the following picture so that you may be able to, at least, narrow down the Company of builder.

Buffers seem very low ...... and are those low-level steps in the first photos ? ........................ with the archaic body framing it's not a Main Line vehicle - maybe One of Colonel Stephens' oddities .... maybe even narrow gauge .................... it doesn't seem to be Talyllyn Railway - which certainly uses side buffers .......................................... yep, a side view might hold the necessary identification clue !

It looks like an LNWR prize cattle van with drover's compartment. I don't remember them ever having windows in the end though.

The side doors do not have a lower flap so I have assumed that it is a road van.
