Phil47gwr
Hereford Model Centre have the Cathedrals Express going at a bargain (!) price. What are your opinions on this set? http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=340_350_486&products_id=6079 TIA
Coppercap
Old Castle (ex-Airfix, but now loco drive), old Hornby Mk.1s, but nicely finished, and loco and coaches all with headboards and nameboards. I wouldn't pay £120 for it, personally, but it's reasonable value. To buy a new Hornby Castle and three of the new Mk.1s would cost rather a lot more! If you fancy it though, go for it! TEAMYAKIMA
Hereford Model Centre have the Cathedrals Express going at a bargain (!) price. What are your opinions on this set? http://herefordmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=340_350_486&products_id=6079 TIA Just to pint out that you have posted this in the wrong forum - it's made by Hornby not Bachmann. Having said that it seems excellent value to me ! Edited March 12, 2018 by TEAMYAKIMA

Phil47gwr
I suspect it's s typo. I'm guessing it should be 11 or 15. At least I hope so, otherwise I share the astonishment of G_BOAF.
Steamport Southport
Where on earth do these come from, and in such volume - 150 packs that were produced areound 15 years ago....!?? Probably just slow selling stock that few people wanted of a locomotive and coaches that were past their prime. According to Ramsey's Guide it was a run of 1000.
