RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted March 16, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 16, 2018 (edited) Does anybody know of a kit or a proprietary model available for one of these please in H0/1:87? Many thanks. Edited March 16, 2018 by Re6/
RMweb Premium Andy Hayter Posted March 16, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 16, 2018 There are a set of drawings in Feb 1987 Loco Revue - beyond that I can find no immediate record of a kit

RMweb Gold Barry Ten Posted March 19, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 19, 2018 I look forward to seeing more, John! I am also hatching another SNCF scheme, due for an outing at Larkrail this year.

RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted March 19, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 19, 2018 I am wondering if a good starting point would be a Nord loco? There have been kits for some of them. I don't think this one has been done as a kit. Indeed the Est, apart from 241A, seems to have been rather neglected.
RMweb Premium uax6 Posted March 19, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 19, 2018 Not knowing much about French locos, it does happen to look like a Highland Railway Castle. Are these a development of the NBLC Castles that were sold to France? The wheelbase certainly looks very much like it could be inherited from them... Andy G I see your point, The clones of the Highland Castles went to the Ouest/Etat - other side of France.

E136 with a large bogie tender and smoke deflectors . http://www.djhmodelloco.co.uk/prodpage.asp?productid=3677 Just make sure you are sitting down when you read the price !!!
