GWR to operate Hex

So who's operating the Heathrow services now?

Is it just TfL and what units are they using?

GWR run the HEx services on behalf of Heathrow Airport Ltd, using 12 dedicated, special interior 387's.

This is still a HAL service.

Heathrow Connect went over to TfL a couple of years ago.

They initial ran the HAL owned 360's under the TfL Rail branding and now use the Crossrail 345's, still under the same branding, until Crossrail is operational, when they'll be rebranded and become part of the Elizebeth Line.

.....Does it survive the HS2 station at OOC? Ah just seen @Mike_Walkers post above .... plainly not!

The depot was always going go be removed, along with everything else at OOC, on the north side of the GWML..

Initially a new HEx depot was going to built out at Langley, but that is no longer needed, as HAL decided it was cheaper to retire their own trains and contract GWR to run the HEx service on their behalf.

GWR's dedicated HEx fleet being maintained by GWR at their own depot (Reading).

For completeness I should point out that the HS2 station doesn't affect either the Crossrail depot that ends up to the north of it, or the GWR IEP (former Eurostar) depot on the other side of the GWML.
