Bogie replacement

Recommended Posts

Where can I find a replacement bogie, preferably here in the US?  My Sliding wall wagon took a dive to the floor and managed to break the pins holding the coupling loop.  And the loop decided to fly to unknown parts in my garage.  Of course this is no great loss because like most modelers I now have more wagons than will fit on the layout.

Hi Kevin

I don't know where you can find Bemo parts in the US. I am surprised that you cannot just replace the coupling itself? In the UK Dundas Models sell packets of 10 of the straight or cranked Bemo couplings. Some 009 modellers use them on their stock too.

I had a feeling that would be the case. I bought this used on ebay and have now converted it to a track cleaning car using a block of Masonite (hardboard) and two nails.
