Barnsley and district 0 gauge group

Hi guys

 

We’re trying to gauge (pun intended) interest in making the Barnsley and district 0 gauge group /club

Our aims

To make a friendly group/club

Have a physical club room to

Meet up 1-2 times a week

Share skills and have skill days

Work towards a layout for running members stock and exhibiting

Once we get a good idea of numbers we’ll work out a good time,date and place for the first meet up

Update

We’ve met with the local Barnsley modelrailway club and had some very positive talks about becoming the 0 gauge section of there club

 

Went down to Barnsley modelrailway clubs new club rooms yesterday

To have a look around and put some graft in

There’s plenty of space for the 0 gauge section

Theyre hoping to moving in sometime at end of summer ,there is plenty of work to be done though

We will be going up to the in use club rooms next Tuesday

,The club rooms are

at 31A Highstone Road, Barnsley, Southyorkshire,S70 4EJ

if anyones in the Barnsley area and would be interested in being part of the 0 gauge team and would like to come along and register an interest in joining us ,your more than welcome
