RMweb Gold 4630 Posted October 27, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 27, 2018 An excellent show today and Leeds Grammar School is a super venue, especially the quality of the food available from the school refectory. A good selection of layouts and traders. Enjoyed a lengthy chat with a couple of exhibitors and traders. I only had my iPhone available for photos, so apologies that the quality of some of the images is a little bit variable, but here is a selection of what's on offer this year; Der Steinbruch Dettingen Fiddlers Row Melton Mowbray North Ridsdale Town Ripponden Shap 1968 The Back End West Street Station So, a big 'Thanks' to the Leeds Model Railway Society and all involved with this years show. All in all a few hours well spent just enjoying the hobby, and a great opportunity to forget about what's going on elsewhere for awhile.

sammyboy
A great exhibition I attended yesterday in the biggest school I've ever been in! Some great layouts were seen, I enjoyed being lineside on Shap, trainspotting in the bleak northern fells. Also 'Rippendon' was atmospheric, a lovely little layout. I liked 'Melton Mowbray North' also. I've also got to say that the food at lunchtime was enjoyable in the big school refectory. Sam
