Redford73
Are there any rtr releases for the Manchester Pullman coaches? I am sure I have seen some on layouts but cannot recall whether Hornby or Bachmann ever released them as a set or individually? I am referring to the post 1966 converted MK2 stock in (I think) pearl grey and blue.

Never been done RTR, but conversion sides were done by Hurst Models, to fit the old Hornby Mk.2 coaches.

Have a feeling they are also in the Judith Edge catalogue
RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted May 14, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 14, 2018 Southern Pride do them with pre-printed sides in both the 1960s corporate livery and the later 1980s inter-city red stripe.

RMweb Premium Michael Edge Posted May 14, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 14, 2018 Mk2 Pullman sides are in our catalogue, available to order. They are etched in .010" n/s so that the window frames can be left bright.

47164
As mentioned the hurst etches were designed to use the early triang Hornby mk2's, I would imagine they are no longer available. Michaels ecthes are designed around the airfix/Dapol air con mk2s of which are readily available 2nd hand for around a tenner, and a good project to cut your teeth on.
