Tangoman69
Hi guys, I have had 2 of Flangeway snowploughs sat around for a few years now, the base models I had were IS2 & IS3. Following the 'Beast from the East' and the affect it had on the railways here in the North East, I thought I'd weather them to indicate a heavy loading and a lighter loading of snow. These were the base models I toned down the yellow a bit and added some Railtec transfers to bring them up to date Using the superb fine snow from Precision Ice & Snow, I started to build up the snowploughs around the chassis areas I then used white flexible bath & Kitchen sealant to build up snow around the actual plough and added some more snow effect. Below is also a snap of a Lima 66 with its motor taken out still in build phase that will form a ZZA - Class 66 - Class 66 - ZZA formation The 2nd ZZA is still in the workshops. I will post more pictures when this is complete Karl Edited May 28, 2018 by Tangoman69

peak experience
Actually a heavy covering of snow on the plough is a good way to cover up the shape error of the blade. I've a couple in 'n' gauge and I've been hoping against hope that someone would make a 3D replacement blade.
