Just a small bump as it’s really not long to go now!

Couple of small changes:

Severn Models won’t be there (that’s my fault as Andy had already told me he couldn’t make it)

Blackham Transfers will be there, and bringing the 5.5mm Society/Area Group demonstration with them

Looking forward to seeing you all in 11 days time - can I start to panic slightly now?!

Another quick update -

Black Dog models won’t now be there as Steve Bennett is currently not very well. Howard Martin hopes to have some Black Dog items on his Avalon Line stand, subject to confirmation.

Just over a week to go now!

.

Not long to go now . . . . . . . . .

I see from the DEMU thread that they suffered from too much heat last weekend and as we use the same building I wanted to reassure everyone that we have ordered average weather for the weekend instead of exceptional weather - and although there will be a lot of hot air (it's also the AGM!) we don't anticipate the problems DEMU faced !!

Although the venue is very close to the station, there will be those who wish to drive - free on road parking is available nearby but please read the signs carefully as some have limit restrictions. There are two pay and display car parks near the station but make sure you get the ticket from the correct machine depending on where you have parked.

For those who don't know the area, please do not follow signs to the town centre as the Town Hall is not in the centre!! Follow signs to the station and look out for the yellow direction signs which I'll put up Thursday (unless it's pi$$ing down in which case i'll either get very wet or go out very early on Saturday !)

Just over 24hours to go now folks!

Mike was out last night in Burton putting up the yellow road signs between the rain showers - so follow them and not the directions to the town centre or you’ll end up nowhere near the Town Hall!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow :)
