RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted May 17, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 17, 2018 Suppose that you have checked all the "likely suspects" such as BH Enterprises? Otherwise, you may have more luck on the N Gauge Forum. I am interested in the answer as well although in N I am happy enough not to look at wagon chassis to closely - so can use Parkside or Peco chassis. 2mm Andy
Hello all, Just wondering if anybody knows of an etch for BR W Irons available anywhere for N gauge? Individually or as part of a kit? Looking to do some PGAs y'see. Have seen the 2mm SA ones but not sure if they'll fit Farish axles. Sorry this isn't pure 2mm related, wasn't sure where else to put a 'N' request. Any tips appreciated Regards, Paul If you're a 2mm member, you can use the 2-027 N gauge wheels on 12.25mm axles produced by the 2mm Scale Association and fit them to the 2-312 BR W-irons. The other possibility is Taylor Precision Models but I don't know if they are still trading in any form - Bernard is an RMweb member. The alternative is to commission some from someone like Fence Houses Model Foundry (Bob Jones). I know he's done kits to fit N gauge wheels in the past as I have one of his N gauge 21t hopper wagon kits. Andy
