Guest
A few months ago I saw at a book which had a Photograph of the Manning Wardle 0-6-0 tank No.630 as delivered to the Maenclochog Railway (predecessor to the North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway) in 1876 and named "Ringing Rock" but regretably did not buy it. Since then I have been looking for a copy but cannot recall the book's title. I recently aquired a copy of J.P.Morris's book on the railway, but the only photo it has is of the much modified loco whilst owned by the K&ESR. From recollection the book was compendium with chapters about a number of light railways either in North Wales, or taken over by the GWR (or both). Does anyone have a copy, or know about this book's title and author. I am currently building a model of "Ringing Rock" later named "Hesparus" in her final K&ESR form, but am also trying to put together a photographic record of her various guises. There are plenty of photos of the loco in her K&ESR form and one in her rebuilt GWR version, but it is the photo of her in her "as built" form that I am missing. Any help would be gratefully received.
