Wrong PC David - 058 (one of the Green ones and the leading PC) was the power which failed yesterday, leaving 046 to do a lot of the work on the Central Wales line itself - pushing load 9 + 1 dead power car + the weight from it's new generator + yesterdays hot weather all took it's toll unfortunately.

Apparently being moved to NL for repair after a "shunting incident" at Crewe on Friday, (although it doesn't look very damaged)  necessitating it's substitution by a Staycation power car on the Mid-Wales Pullman on 17/7/21

Was it not 43055 that had the little dance with a mk2 Mick?

Hi Jo,

It was indeed 43055 reported as damaged in the incident, yet 43046 failed on Saturday.

Yet the path for Crewe-NL was in RTT on Friday night before 43046 failed............

Maybe they have a psychic working for LSL?

:D

There was a blue pullman HST at Eastleigh on Monday this week. Are there more than 2 now or had it come down for a repaint after the repairs?

43046 and 43055 again, on it’s way to St.Pancras from Carlisle, nice to see it on a ‘proper’ express service never thought I would see it though my neck of the woods,it’s times like this I wish I had a better camera, but good to see all the same.
