The Autumnal flagship event of the EM Gauge Society will take place as usual this year over the weekend of September 8th/9th at Partington Sports Village, Manchester. On display will be at least ten finescale layouts representing the best in 4mm scale modelling; plus we have great pleasure to include this year, a guest layout in the form of Martin Stringer’s 7mm scale ‘Tollesbury Quay’ (MRJ 246) making one of its rare exhibition appearances.  In addition there will be plenty of opportunity to stock up on modelling supplies with around 20 specialist traders in attendance, plus a wide variety of  ‘Show you how’ demonstrations and other special interest society stands. As usual there will also be the EMGS Trade Stand and the extremely popular Members’ Second Hand Sales.

We are expecting to have two new kits on sale at Partington, the Horwich version of the Kitson 0-4-0ST (should be the same price, for now at least) and the Harland & Wolff 0-6-0DM. Production etches arrived today and everything else should be ready, no price for the HW yet though.
