Stefen1988
Can some tell me if the C Class in Early BR Livery comes with SR Headcode Discs?
RMweb Premium Crepello Posted February 4, 2020 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted February 4, 2020 Mine certainly didn't and I think this applies to all. However, Fox Transfers will come to your rescue--they do some lovely brass ones (ready painted).
Mr chapman
The side steps on one of mine are broken. What's the best glue to use on the cast frame? Can't send it back. Super glue doesn't seem to want to know on this stuff.
RMweb Premium Crepello Posted March 18, 2020 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted March 18, 2020 Have you tried Araldite? I use the 'classic' slow-setting version even for fixing small parts, (like the Fox discs and Dapol head & tail lights). Hopefully it'll set straight if you support the loco upside-down. RMweb Gold Kaput Posted May 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 23, 2020 Has anyone managed to do anything to improve the volume of the speaker in these? Was wondering if it just wasn't sealed properly but its a bit of a tight fit to try and get the speaker out for a nosey.
Roy L S
I haven't found any need to adjust the sound settings, my C Class has been plenty loud enough on my home layout. Roy

RMweb Gold Kaput Posted May 27, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 27, 2020 I decided to be brave and opened up the tender fully, turns out the speaker "enclosure" is practically just a little bit of transparent plastic stuck to the bottom of the speaker. Replaced it with one of the bases from an ESU sugarcube kit and its a fair bit better.
Mr chapman
Has anyone fitted the doors? Any idea what radius that would require?
