IIRC upside down photos have been a thing on RMWeb for reasons that I do not understand, or recollect. They are the right way up (non Australian) here at snailpace towers.... 1

Even with the best camera in the world I’d struggle to take decent photos photography is definitely an art and I admire those who take such fantastic photos. You’re definitely included in that statement Al Which leads on nicely to the following poor photos taken with an iPhone I thought I’d do the canopy while waiting for other things to dry etc but I’ve probably gone OTT with the weathering 17

RMweb Gold Popular Post chuffinghell Posted March 30, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted March 30, 2021 I wanted a weighbridge plate like this And thought as my layout is fictional and a fictional location why not draw my own to include Myself and my boys as the manufacturer Made at the fictional iron works in Warren Made in 1902 which is Sarah’s birthday (19th Feb) I had to guess the sizes but based it around my mechanical horse so it scales about 16ft long Just got to find somewhere to stick it....behave you lot!! I think this getting bits 3D printed has become a bit of an obsession 22 6

Thank you It has turned out better than expected, especially with the text being only 1.7mm tall I thought it would be a little more personal and also fit in nicely with the layout, after all it’s not based on a real place. 5 minutes ago, Bluemonkey presents.... said: Need your own printer. I couldn’t agree more, although I’d never end up doing any ‘proper’ modelling Well it’s my birthday in May but they’re a bit on the expensive side so perhaps a joint present?.....is that a pig I see flying in the sky? 1

MrWolf
That looks really great. I'm particularly impressed with how neatly it has printed, it's as good as any etched version I have seen. I like the personal touch too, hidden away on something that otherwise looks just like a Henry Pooley original.
