Difficult to define the true colour of guano. I think that birds deliberately vary it depending on who has just washed their car.

If you have a black car, the poop is white, a red car the poop is green, a white car the poop is purple...

You've  obviously spent some considerable time on this topic. Have You thought about getting your observations published? There would clearly be a market for it:laugh_mini:

The truth is that I have owned too many cars over the years.

If I was such an expert on talking sh17 I would be a celebrity, a sports commentator or maybe a politician....

They do say that our greatest talents come from within...

I believe there is quite a market in 's....t'. if it's used wisely and spread thinly it's amazing what benefits it can have and if it's dug in there's no end of improvements it can do. Now a days though there does seem to be an awful lot of it around. Every time you turn on the TV you just can't escape it.

Last night I sprayed the roof using an automotive dark grey bumper paint unfortunately it highlighted the join, its shiny because its wet

This morning I attempted to weathered it and applied a matt varnish

Too much? Too little? Needs bird poo?

I expected so, I’ll see what I can do with a little white weathering powder

I've cut the ‘glazing’ but it’s not glued in yet, I know in reality the glass wouldn’t be clean but if it were dirty you wouldn’t be able to see in with the roof in place so it’s a compromise

Not sure about bird poo, maybe some algae staining, but otherwise looking very nice.

I have used green powder but I blended it in with the white, black and earth plus the varnish has muted the effect

Coupled with my poor photography

Matt varnish will tone it down
