RMweb Gold 08221 Posted April 24, 2010 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 24, 2010 Great time at Sutton exhibition today along with my son doing our annual days stint helping to run 'Sutton Folly'. Good to see so many people at the show - from the brief time we managed to escape, the layouts were all of a high standard. We will be helping with 'Sutton Folly' at the Sutton Coldfield Model Engineering Society Open Day at Little Hay on 22 May as well as running our 5" gauge hand powered 'Railpup', so say 'Hi' if you happen to see us there !! Rock & Rail
I had an enjoyable time there today (well, I have to say that, my Dad's the treasurer of SCRS ), in spite of a few electrical gremlins the venue seemed to be having... There wasn't any layout in "my" era (LNER/BR steam) but there was plenty of interest nonetheless I took quite a few pics, please excuse the rather ropey quality of them, they were taken on my phone camera, and I've resized them down for the web. Northpoint
Thanks to all those who were involved in the organisation of the show. A very enjoyable weekned despite the rowdy neighbours at Brixworth Rd Thank you for all the positive comments about Montgomery - much appreciated.
