Photographs of MK1 RK and POT Vehicles

Hi all,

I have asked Allen at Worseley Works to make up some etches for some non-RTR Mk1 vehicles in N gauge, namely:

RKB Diagram 25

RK Diagram 700 or 701 or 702

and

POT Diagram 725

I have been searching Flickr and other sites trying to find side view of these to help Allen with drawings. I have Hugh Longworth's Mk1 & Mk2 Coaches book, but the drawings in it only show a plan view and one side view.

I've managed to find quite a few of the Diagram 25, but struggling with the rest.

Can anyone out there help with the others?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best

Scott

As you may have noted diagram 725 were originally built with offset gangways. Once they were changed to centre gangways they became identical to diagram 724 (as stated above by Wild Boar Fell).

I've been modelling the TPOs in OO including a 724 which if I remember is the same as the 725 in terms of side layout. I think I have some overlay artwork that may be of use. May not be 100% but pretty close.

That would be of great help, and I'd be most grateful.

Thank you both for your replies!

dia.700 RK were the first ones built and differed from 701 & 702.

dia 701 & 702 had the same body but 701, introduced 1962 had anthracite fuel and were all gone by 1968. the 702, introduced in 1962/3 had propane fuel and lasted into b/g into the mid-late '70s.
