Class 205 at Itchen Abbas 1973 So long as it's "In the landscape", no problem. My original aim was always that the photo should be obviously rural, urban, suburban, industrial or whatever and that the DMU should be seen within that landscape (so never too large a proportion of the frame). I like your shot because it just feels damp and misty, B&W really helps here. 1 1

RMweb Gold 4630 Posted August 8, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2020 On 8th August 2020 first of the class for TransPennine Express, 185101 approaching Heaton Lodge East Junction. The 185 was working 2J67, 14.51 Huddersfield to Leeds local service. Followed a short time later by Northern 195001+195018 working 5U55, 12.30 Barrow Carriage Sidings to Doncaster West Yard. Always interesting to compare the current view at this location with the outstanding modelling of Heaton Lodge Junction currently underway on the following thread, for anyone not already following its development.

RMweb Premium Northmoor Posted August 11, 2020 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 11, 2020 That's much more what I originally had in mind Phil, I really like the first one of 1A81. The foreground tree sets the scene and divides the image into thirds. My mantra is always: If you can read the number, you're too close! 2
