Does anyone know if its possible to get to the old sign,london/Edinburgh one just north of york?

Just to get a photo of it?

Or is it only accessed through private land or railway property?

Cheers

Don't know about access, but Half Way is @*!% hard to photograph from the train:

"Doncaster 5" is visible from a public footpath:

And "Edinburgh 250" is accessible from a nature reserve:

And while we're at it, does anyone know the approx milepost for the Mallard 126mph sign? I'm always missing it.

The Edinburgh/London signs just north of York are visible from the road bridge where Overton Road crosses the railway line.

Hopefully this google maps reference should work.

And here's a photo I took from the bridge in April.
