Hello Banburysaint.

There is on street parking but it is limited.

Parking can usually be found in NYMR car park.  Their station is just around the corner from the show venue.

Co-op and Lidl supermarkets also have a car parks.  They are both within short walking distance.

Don't forget to come and see us (Yorkshire Pennines) while at the show.  We're on the top floor.

Where do you recommend to park for the venue. We are up here for a family holiday. Regards

Hi Banburysaint,

I hope that you enjoy your holiday in our beautiful part of the world and that you find time to visit our little show.

There are three pay and display car parks within 150 yards of the exhibition. Pickering station, Eastgate and Vivis Lane.

You should also be able to find free parking in the residential streets around 200 yards from the show venue. The streets around the Middleton Road area are often a good bet for a space.

There will be yellow directional signs to guide you to the venue, but for satnav the postcode is YO18 1AA

Best wishes,

Mike

All systems go. Everything is ready for tomorrow. We open at 10 a.m. Why not pay us a visit and see some great layouts? We also have some fantastic raffle prizes to be won, including tickets for Flamingoland, Go Ape, NYMR, Eden Camp & Cedar Barn to name but a few.

And don't forget the NYMR is on our doorstep, so why not make a day of it?

See you there!!

Good show. We enjoyed chatting with the team producing the scratch buildings, playing with the cliff lifts, racing Thomas and of course Yorkshire Pennines. The dcc set up on the latter was fascinating although the fear in Richards face when a child wanted a loco to run from the top to the bottom and then through the tunnel was a picture!

Hi all,

I just want to say many thanks to Mike, Roland and all of the guys and girls from the Scarborough and District Railway Modellers for putting on a yet another great show. I really enjoyed my two days demoing at the show and it was nice to chat and catch up with friends and chat to those just beginning in the hobby who visited the show.

Also thanks must go to the ladies in the kitchen who keep us all fed and watered for the weekend. Not an easy task.

Looking forward to hopefully being invited back next year.

Thanks again

Simon
