Allegheny1600
Hello All, I write this on behalf of my club, Leigh Model Railway Society. For the past couple of years now or more, we have submitted details of our annual exhibition: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/132528-leigh-mrs-2018-exhibition/?p=3096210 to the magazine for inclusion in the "exhibitions" section but have not had anything published. Are we doing it incorrectly? How should we send it? If anyone can advise us, please - we would be very grateful. Many thanks, John.
RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted August 15, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 15, 2018 Don't think unless you pay they put them in the hard copy mag anymore, just get posted to the website
Allegheny1600
Thanks (Ian), I'm sorry to say but if that's the case, it's a bit tight! All the other magazines do give free entry into their diary sections, this is all we wanted. Oh well. John.
Administrators Phil Parker Posted August 15, 2018 Administrators Share Posted August 15, 2018 We've covered this before - basically, the decision was taken to use the pages normally full of events for more content. With most people on-line, it seems a better use fo space. We're always struggling to get all the content in the mag each month as it is!
Allegheny1600
Hello Phil, Thanks for the explanation and, no worries. I'll report back to my club with your comments. I'm sorry btw, if my comment above seems a bit off-hand as I do appreciate what you do and how space is at a premium. Thanks again, John.
