Popular Post Andrew P
This morning after coffee I went out and Dry Ballasted Bench Road, I've used a mix of Gaugemaster OO Ballast on the approach and then changed to N with mixes of the Grey and some Brown as I was a bit short of Grey. I then gave the standing areas a sprinkling over with some real ash I found in a jar from many years ago, It will be interesting to see how it comes out once I do the PVA application over the coming days.

Barry sells it at Tutbury when he re opens. Edited January 6, 2021 by Andrew P
Popular Post Andrew P
I am starting to scrape the barrel a bit now, I've used well over three quarters of the 160+ photos I took for the RM Photo Shoot, and these were not only left on the floor, but some have been swept under the carpet. I apologise for not editing the foreground, but I felt it was better to leave some with just the sky done to show the Layout in its true environment. So we see Blue Chopper 20142 leading Railfreight 20156 out over Yard Lane Crossing on route from Seven Up Junction to Dore End Yard with some OAA's and VAA's in tow.

Thanks Al, That is the Plan, that pic was taken in daylight but with the room LED lights off, so just some light from the door glass, and I'm well chuffed with it. Popular Post Andrew P
I wanted the Ballast in the standing areas to look darker than the running line, but not to dark, and depending o how this dries, it looks quite good so far. I've just been out for a quick look and its almost set, and the colour has stayed nice and dark, so it looks like I won't need to go over it with powders or Air Brush. 19
