Still plenty to do young Paul, the front and middle bit, then some Static Grass in the Sidings etc.

Then its back to repair and Grass over the two Sidings that were originally the Fuel Roads, they will be Wagon Sidings a bit like below.

OK, so that's tomorrow morning taken care of. What's the plan after your afternoon nap?  :jester:

I had intended to model mid 60's to mid 70's while also abusing that era with big doses of Rule 1 but I may now need to slide everything up through the years a little just to make other diesels available.

Thanks for your FB.

About your point on overlap of steam and diesel Barnaby hope the following helps

Southern Region steam ended Summer 67

Western Region steam end of 1965 - but odd overlaps - Bath Bournemouth steam (on S&D) until March 1966

Midland Region August 1968

Eastern Region 1966 (I think)

Preservedbristishsteamlocomotives.com has a table by loco class and by year

Hope that helps. Paul

That Siding West Shed is looking very swish now Andy, very realistic.  Can you remind me with a video maybe of how your layout now runs end to end to include all the locations.

Paul thanks for some more details ref the end of Steam and when Diesel appeared on the rails.

I think I am going to use a lot of Rule 1 as some of my choices will be locos that were not running together.

Best

Hi Barnaby, Firstly its not West Shed, West Shed was an OO Layout from a few years ago, see below.

The New Section is Bench Road, as it fits over the  end of my Bench.

I cant do a Video at the moment, but here is a POD Plan to help.

You should place a convenient dumped mattress there for LJ to sleep on and an abandoned shopping trolley!

Its all in the detail you know!

Is this conclusive proof that wearing a mask does not in fact provide better protection against COVID?

Have you NOT seen the amount of Bushes and Foliage they've planted, there having a rest. I think the upside down one is Australian.:swoon:

NOTE = Its not as bright as it looks, but the DAYLIGHT led lighting does make it very bright so I'll have to get used to turning a set off when doing the proper photos.

All lights on = Summer time - 1 light on = Autumn time

Looking very good Andy :boast:

What camera are you using, Andy ?  Different model/makes of camera seem to emphasise different colours - the Canon DSLR I have really seems to highlight the reds. I seem to recall that Fuji and Nikon favour green.

You can play with the gamma settings of the camera or the software you use for editing to soften the tones/mix.

Regards

Andi

I used the small Canon for all these shots, I have a Fuji, but the battery cover has broken, this is the second one that has gone now, but I used that for my Photo Shoots for the Mag as it has a greater depth of field, so I'm told, and whatever that means.
