Later this morning I'm off to Eastleigh for some inspiration and retail theropy which may include the purchase of a sausage roll on the Station. 

 

Raining here so no walk for me today, (fair weather walker only).

 

Off now to check on the Video up load.

Well what a cracking day, an hour at Eastleigh, and then a run up to Ropley for the Mid Hants Diesel Gala.

The Sun came out and it was a scorcher.

I met up with, (and in NO particular order) Ian /  @Temeraire , Mike, @scoobyra, and Rhys, @Rhysb, and I will be going back again tomorrow.

Today I ended up with almost half an hour of Video and some 30 + photos to use over the coming weeks in bits and pieces.

I was heading to guitar village in Farnham anyway today then glanced at the roster and spotted the gala, so will carry on to Alton and cycle to Chawton woods/Medstead area.

 

Aside from the two 47s, looks like they have a rare coach that isn't green!

Yes a 4TC Set between a fine pair of out of period Class 73's, amongst other things.

 

I will park my posterior somewhere near the Burger Van  and Tea Van on the  embankment opposite the Main Building to enjoy watching all the Comings and goings on and off Shed, and the Local Service doing the Run around etc, although that is only a Teddy Bear.

Yesterday was better than I had expected, and with hardly a lull at Ropley as Locos were coming on and off Shed, the 08 up and down and the wonderful views.

Just caught up on the latest video. I thought this was one of the best yet. Good tip on breathing on the side of the wagon to help the weathering powders adhere better, not heard of that one before. Some nice camera angles too.

Enjoyed the shots of the locos at the Gala so looking forwards to seeing more later. When I initially looked at the pics I thought you have bought a green diesel then I realised it was the real thing!
