Andrew P
And a bit of an Arty Farty shot to finish off tonight, unfortunately it a little, well quite a lot actually, out of focus, so sorry about that.

I also removed the 3 Red lever coves to hide them a bit more. OI Old Fellow What is that upturned crate for? Don't you go standing on it and then fall. I want my mate to remain safe. 1 3 1

Cheers for the thought Clive, SMS is about 3 inches higher than in the previous abode, and reaching the back bit by the Station which is 3ft wide is now almost impossible. Un fortunately I wasn't born with telescopic legs, otherwise reaching the back would have been so much easier. It's only when it comes to Track cleaning and cobweb removal that I need it for. It's main use is for wood cutting as my Workmate is under the Layout, and I'm to lazy to dig it out for quick small jobs. Andrew P
This morning I decided to ballast the two sidings and the Level Crossing. The first job to paint a thin layer of PVA on the Yard surface and sprinkle some N Gauge mixed Ballast and some Green flock to represent a weed strewn Yard. Next was to use up some supposedly O Gauge Ballast that I feel is far to large, put one piece in an O Gauge mans hand and it fills it. The O Gauge Track is so deep it eats Ballast by the Ton so this saves the good stuff for on top.. I have a mix of several OO Ballast's and Ash, and that was laid over the top. Again with some Green Flock to add some colour and some Ash in between the Rails. Lastly extra shade of Grass / Flock / Bushes etc were put in to blend with the existing Sidings that were done about 2 years ago.
Andrew P
Looking at the above pics, I think I might go out and have a look at removing the ridge of small bushes I've put between the new and original Sidings, to me it looks a bit odd now.

Andrew P
And so it came to pass that I did went out again, and removed the Bushes, luckily the PVA was still wet. So, as it was. And now.
Andrew P
I then decided to do the area inside the new wall and between the Tracks, so it looks like all the Scenics are now done. So with all the various Flocks etc lined up, I made a start. I have L O A D S of Static Grasses, bushes, Flocks left over, in fact probably enough for another couple of Layouts, haha. 10
pwr
Looks good Andy - makes a huge positive difference. Not even a crane rusting away in the weeds? Paul R
