Bit late, a longer walk than expected as I made the most of a dry morning.

But anyway, your not  interested in that, all you to see is the answers.

So without further ado, here we are.

Looks like your walk with the animals took you onto the Railway land.

Just in passing as I've not looked at any real life buffers to compare but I would instinctively think that the impact point would be the buffer centres with a darker rim and not the other way around.

I must go and look at a real life photo.

Re the Animals, We lost our last Dog in March, a beautiful Greyhound, and so my almost daily Walkies finished, but I still need to do exersise and so I go for a walk before breakfast to loosen up the joints and work up an apatite.

Hello Andy so sorry to read of your pet losses, we lost our cat [Barnaby] after 21 years, he was born at our home.   It does leave a never to be filled void and I often say a few words to him as I pass by his resting place up by my shed.

My Forum name is Barnaby so named after him all those years ago done when I quickly needed a forum name.

Regards the buffers my photos show that what you have is correct so I must remember that when I get round to weathering my locos.

Regards

Apatite - interesting how a mis-spelling can be relevant.

Geologically Apatite is a mineral with some good properties.

It clears confusion and frustration, reducing irritability and awakening the inner self.  It expands knowledge and truth and eases sorrow, apathy, and anger. Physically, Apatite aids in the absorption of calcium, helping cartilage, bones and teeth; healing bones and encouraging the formation of new cells.

So there you are your morning walk is doing you some good!

I suspect I may suffer from a deficiency of this.

Really good image, Andy.

But I'm not surprised LJ is staring at you.....he's probably wondering why you keep taking pics of him!

Good to see you having fun with this layout. I feel a bit of O gauge corruption stirring!  ;):scratchhead::scratchhead:

Thanks Jeff, Wanna buy it? :o

I will be doing the Photo Shoot for RM over the coming days, so I need to fire up the Fuji, and then get the article typed up. I'm then looking at some options, My Resin 'Detra if you like, is the love of planning and building new projects.

I currently have  a small Layout on the go, (pics in a mo) and then I may decided to SELL SEVEN MILLS to make room for another project, possibly back in 4mm. :)

I have already re planned how the room / Man Cave / POD / Pit of Doom can be re planned to get the maximum out of a new build.

More details in the coming weeks.:good:

I will be starting the new OO Thread in the Layout Section very soon now, but here are a couple more teasers.

It will be an Exchange Yard for a Colliery Branch, and formally of a through Line now truncated.

If it goes you need to replace it with another 7mm layout of some description, can't loose you from  the 7mm section. I am toying with a (fairly) quick build of a Wagon Repair Depot on two 4'x2' boards with a 3' fiddle yard I can fit in my shed while the main layout is a longer term build.

I did look at the idea of 7mm in the 7ft x 1ft over the Bench, but it was a bit to tight, you need 10ft as minimum and a couple of ft wide.

GO FOR IT Al.:good:

The plan is done and there may be progress at next Wednesday's train club. Watch this space!
