I dont know if it helps with Sound but the Multilayer foil such as Tri Iso used in loft conversions gives a lot of insulation without taking up much space.

On the walls I'll either use Plasterboard covered Celetex or Celetex and ply as per TOPS.

For the roof, again Ply with Loft insulation between the rafters.

 

TBH, I'll leave that for my Grandson to decide as he does this sort of thing all the time and he has just done his own Loft Conversion with 2 Bedrooms, and all past by Building inspectors etc.

As Father Dougal said about the 08 pic, the Sun pics out the underframe, and this early morning shot of the 20 entering Seven Mills has captured this as well.

Thanks Barnaby, that foreground foliage has really helped with the photography, and as you say, places the model into, it rather than on the Layout.

I've been really busy for the last week or so, and as a consequence nothing has been done inside TOPS. I have gone in a couple of times for short running sessions, or with the intent on doing a job or two, but then just switched off the power and gone back indoors and done nothing.

 

The result is that pics your seeing have been taken some time ago, so I hope you will forgive me for the lack of any new material at the moment.

 

Anyway, here is another one of the Grid and the Catfish, (hey, what a good name for a Pub or Rock Band!)

As stated on New Mills,

Our place officially went on the Market on Tuesday evening and so far we have had 6 viewings, but no offers as yet.

 

Today had been a very wet and miserable day since getting up O'clock this morning, but now it is looking a little brighter.

 

Here's a pic with todays mood written all over it.
