RMweb Gold russ p Posted August 29, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 29, 2018 Derby Lightweight/Battery units and the West Window of York Minster. There's something Gothic about Derby Lightweights... When I worked for central trains I was looking at a 158 and they have some similar styling as the Derby lightweight on the front end. The lower valence has similar styling to the MG maestro turbo front spoiler ,both of them were styled by tickford around the same time

Boris
I am extremely surprised that nobody has remarked on the similarities between these two yet, they do look quite similar, and occasionally even small the same.
RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted September 2, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 2, 2018 No. The thing in the first photograph is the more loathsome.

009 micro modeller
And the less useful? Well you can't use a Pacer to fertilise marrows. If you had a methane powered car you could technically use the subject of the second photo to travel between (say) York and Harrogate...
RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted September 3, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 3, 2018 No good for fertilising marrows, and not much good at carrying passengers, either.
