Closure of Tweedmouth shed and D2049

Just reading about the interesting shed at Tweedmouth,

 

some reports say it closed entirely or possibly just to steam?? on June 19^th 1966 with its last two steam engines, 77002/4 going to  Stourton 55B. However, Class 03 D2049 lasted on paper at least, on Tweedmouth’s allocation until January 1969??? Would anyone happen to know if this was an oversight or whether the shed shut then/before or after then??.

An 03 was always out-stationed at Tweedmouth/B-u-T for shunting and piloting duties so that sounds perfectly plausible!

I went around Tweedmouth Shed on Sunday July 10, 1966.

 

It had closed to steam, but K1 62006 was in the shed.
