All very inspiring Barry. Most people have never heard of soda ash let alone know how important the stuff is or what it is used for. So why should anyone bother to model the wagons right! The LMS types you have modeled are new to me as I always thought the company just transported the stuff  in tarped up mineral wagons as per the norm!

Problem is..how did I do the rivet heads??? Long time ago...

They were built for use on Hartford Junction .. a club layout never finished due to baseboard ply delamination.

Perhaps we should have another go after Chapel...

Strangely enough a new front for the chapel fiddle yards has been discussed in the recent past.. but it won't be Hartford.

Looks like a Chennai pitch

Think I'd sooner bat on the plywood than that Test wicket!

Mind tou I can remember a few "corrugated iron" tracks in Yorkshire and in Norfolk.

I once advised some-one somwhere that if they drove a tractor and plough down it that would make a massive improvement.

That idea did not play too well!

or a store for one of her indoors musical instruments?

Or somewhere for the big and small wombats to play music?

none of these.. it is a base for a cassette road.. we need somewhere to empty coal wagons  add TPOs and sleeping cars.

Should be finished today

large wombat is using small wombat to steady the musical instrument while he plays it .. It is a crumhorn.

That's what I like about this forum, where else would you find a wombat playing a crumhorn.  I think we need a video of it.
